Packing her FAITH to fly…

My favorite blonde cowgirl trades her horse for a pole vault pole tomorrow afternoon to compete in the Nebraska State Track and Field Championships. I’m pretty proud of Megan as she has had an awesome freshman year track season! It’s been a lot of fun to watch her work hard and pack her FAITH to fly 🙂

My Feed Yard Foodie video for the week highlights her pole vaulting prowess. Please help me to wish her the best as she tackles one of her favorite off farm challenges @ Burke Stadium in Omaha.  Go Meg!

Go Meg!!! May you soar like an eagle! Anxious to hear how you do. Love your focus and concentration.

  9. Thank you everyone for your well wishes. Meg had a great state experience despite some challenging weather. The kids competed all weekend in 40 degree temperatures and a steady rain. Meg had never pole vaulted in the rain before, so she gained a strong appreciation for the sunshine! She ended up 12th place — clearing 10′, but missing her 10’6″ vault. Her third attempt at 10’6″ was really close and I thought she would get it, but her shin slipped down the bar as she came down and it didn’t hold.

What an awesome season! My blonde cowgirl makes me proud 🙂
    Go Haymakers!
