What Does Your Farmer Look Like?

Thoughtful Thursday

97% of all farms and ranches are family farms like ours, so there is an excellent chance that your farmer looks quite a bit like this…

Feel good about the food that you eat because we feel good about the way that we grow it!

  1. Great post Anne! I love Thoughtful Thursdays!

    • Thank you, Terryn! I am also enjoying the series — and always seem to have ideas spring up to share so I would assume that it will continue for a while 🙂

I love this picture. It’s one of the best ones that I have taken to date. It warms my heart to see the joy and love that shows through in the image. My family is very important to me and I feel as though this picture shows what life is all about — it certainly demonstrates what is important to me.

I also think that it does a good job of demonstrating that farmers/ranchers are just regular people with families and lives that they love 🙂

      Good to hear from you,
      Anne

  2. This is a great Photo Anne! You captured the love and joy that they have and share. We are regular people who are just like others. Only we get to work side by side with our family every day. Have a great weekend Anne!

*Just a thought, but I think this photo could be very powerful as a black and white as well.

  3. That young lady has a beautiful smile, she is so pretty. I know you are proud of your family and you should be. I love reading about the girls and the feedlot news too.

    • Thank you, Ellie! What makes me the proudest is how beautiful she is on the inside and I think that you can see that in her smile 🙂

I appreciate you always reading! Good to hear from you. I hope that all is well.

  4. We are going through the greening insect in the citrus here, it is sad to drive along groves and see so many trees pushed out. Thousands of trees are being lost, I think our son in law has lost over 5000 now and still counting. Farming is a real gamble, you have to love it to do it and he does. I do love reading your blog and know your girls are beautiful young ladies, it shows in smiles and actions.
