Meanwhile Back In Nebraska…

Fall is in the air and the trees are turning colors.

This is my favorite time of year, and I treasure the breathtaking views that surround me.  The following pictures were taken by Kristian Rennert of Elm Creek, Nebraska.  He has a tremendous gift for photography, and has gracefully allowed me to share the beauty.

  1. These are really beautiful landscapes! Thanks for sharing.
Staying focused brings a lot of peace to my life. It seems like there are so many distractions and that we are all trying to process more information than we could ever possibly file away. I find a lot of peace in setting my heart and mind to the path God has given me and simply putting one foot in front of the other every day.

    • Emily Grace,

I agree with you. Staying focused on what is truly important keeps our lives more peaceful and less cluttered. I struggle with this at times when it seems that I am getting pulled in so many different directions. It is always helpful to take a moment to reflect and recenter yourself before continuing on with the day.

Thank you so much for the thoughtful reminder! I am so glad that you have signed up to be a new follower of the blog 🙂

      • Hi Anne – you’re so welcome. I’ve clicked over to your blog many times in the last year or two, but I just recently began “following” blogs – it makes keeping up consistent…focused, I guess. ;o) Be in touch…eg

  2. Anne,
These are beautiful pictures. I don’t think I have seen the Platte in the fall. Gorgeous!

I find peace in working with cattle. We moved one bunch of pairs home yesterday morn and helping Cousin T today. I enjoy looking at the calves and taking in the changes of the countryside.

    • We are kindred spirits, Robyn! I too find peace being outdoors and working with my animals. There is something so simple and soothing about working cattle, and it centers me as I navigate my days. You will have to come down to the Platte and visit some fall so that you can be a part of the beauty!

I am so glad that you all got through the storm with limited damage. I have enjoyed your updates and pictures on the blog.

      All the best,
      Anne
