Q Fun…

Lest you all think that I am a complete bah humbug about the snow, I figured that I would share a few pictures from our family sledding expedition on Saturday afternoon.Β

The snow was perfect for sledding and the afternoon weather was gorgeous!

And yes, even the girl who traded her flip flops for cowboy boots enjoyed the hill!

Even Shellie, the family mutt, enjoyed the outing :)

Glad you could enjoy the snow with your family. Looked like some good family fun and great memories!! (The stuff they remember.)

  2. Glad you all had a chance to have some fun after the bunks got shoveled. : ) Looks like it was a great weekend. Hopefully now it will warm up and all that moisture will soak into the ground and you won’t have to fight the mud for too long. Have a great week.

    • We are hoping for that too! It got warm enough that we have a nice crust on the snow which will keep it from blowing around and making ground blizzards when the wind blows–a real plus! The mud is messy and less than ideal when it melts but it will dry and hopefully the grass will grow this spring…

  3. Awesome! Looks like y’all had a really great time! Thanks for the smiles!

  4. How fun.. if you have the snow at least you had the sun to enjoy it in πŸ™‚

    • How right you are! We had a beautiful day, and even melted the snow enough to put a crust on top which will keep it from blowing around. The good thing about Nebraska is that more often than not the sun comes out!
