Lest you all think that I am a complete bah humbug about the snow, I figured that I would share a few pictures from our family sledding expedition on Saturday afternoon.

The snow was perfect for sledding and the afternoon weather was gorgeous!

My 8 year old dare-devil…

My 41 year old little boy…

My ornery 10 year old cowgirl/chef/trouble maker…Yes, she did drop it on her sister’s head!

My favorite teenager who kept loosing her sled on the way down the hill…

And yes, even the girl who traded her flip flops for cowboy boots enjoyed the ride!

Even Shellie, the family mutt, was thrilled with the snow
The girls keep Matt and I smiling, and I cherish all of the memories that we make together!

Glad you could enjoy the snow with your family. Looked like some good family fun and great memories!! (The stuff they remember.)
Yes Joanne, the smiles and the memories are the best
The girls bring me hope and help me to keep the faith.

Glad you all had a chance to have some fun after the bunks got shoveled. : ) Looks like it was a great weekend. Hopefully now it will warm up and all that moisture will soak into the ground and you won’t have to fight the mud for too long. Have a great week.
We are hoping for that too! It got warm enough that we have a nice crust on the snow which will keep it from blowing around and making ground blizzards when the wind blows–a real plus! The mud is messy and less than ideal when it melts but it will dry and hopefully the grass will grow this spring…

Awesome! Looks like y’all had a really great time! Thanks for the smiles!
So glad that I could make you smile! We did have a wonderful time

How fun.. if you have the snow at least you had the sun to enjoy it in
How right you are! We had a beautiful day, and even melted the snow enough to put a crust on top which will keep it from blowing around. The good thing about Nebraska is that more often than not the sun comes out!
